A Little Bit About Me.

I'm passionate about photography and videography, but ultimately I want to go into law. For the longest time, I've believed these two don't intersect, but through my experiences with both, I've discovered that I hold a unique skillset: I'm able to tell the stories of those who are sometimes at their most vulnerable, through mediums that are commonly accessible and easy to understand.

My *Limited Law Experience.

I've been doing Williamson County Teen Court for ~2 years now, starting from just someone in the audience, watching these incredibly talented people, who just so happen to be my peers, argue to a jury also made up of my peers. Through these 2 years, I've progressed, first to a member of the jury, then to bailiff, and finally to the role of Judge. I've made arguments to the jury, either for or against a certain amount of community service hours for misdemeanor committed by teenagers.

My Photography Experience.

Everyone has taken a photo on their phones. My story also starts from that single, catalyzing moment, when I realized I held the power of art and memory in my hands. Photography, to me, isn't just the singular moment of taking that photo. It's the moments that lead up to it, waiting for the perfect moment, framing the perfect shot. It's also processing the photo- to tell the story you wanted to achieve with that photo, adjusting the colors, adding depth, and perspective.

Video Editing and Filming.

It started with an US History assignment- to recreate a historical event through a video. Since editing that one video, I fell in love with video editing. I currently edit on Premiere Pro, and am proficient in Final Cut. I take my love for editing and apply it to various aspects of my life, either through making short films, documentaries, social media promotion, or educational films at the request of my teachers.
